2023 State Healthcare IT Connect Annual Summit

Indiana is driving an ambitious plan to reimagine its Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) -- including launching a managed program -- to ensure that all residents can age where they choose and receive high-quality care while maintaining long-term cost sustainability for the state. To achieve these results, the state must closely monitor the program’s implementation, operations, and performance and shift from reactive reporting to proactive data-driven decision-making. Indiana and its partner, McKinsey, developed a plan for (and currently are building) an integrated data platform with sophisticated analytics capabilities and curated visualizations. This session will cover the approach for developing the data transformation roadmap, the short- and long-term target states, and lessons learned along the way.
