The role of data in a Public Health (PH) ecosystem is paramount, and the flow and ability to utilize this data is vital between connected public and commercial Health systems. With approximately 30% of the world’s data volume is being generated by the healthcare industry, it’s important that resilient, nimble data platforms are established to manage large volume and diverse data sets.  These data sets allow Public Programs to address health disparity, quality, improve care access, and to reduce per capita cost of care. Modern technologies such as Data Lakehouses, Interoperability frameworks (FHIR), Data science utilizing AI/ML and amplified fusion data sets provide the ability to integrate large data sets, scale, and leverage data for use across multiple tools.  The ability to cleanly integrate large data sets and enable that data to be utilized in multiple systems will promote optimized care delivery and patient care. Knowledge driven, from these systems through healthcare data is essential for informed decision making to drive outcomes.

Join us to see how GDIT manages healthcare big data and utilizes it to improve quality of care, combat fraud, waste, abuse and publish healthcare data to researchers.  The value of raw data including structured and unstructured data should not be understated, see how we leverage modern data management techniques, warehousing platform(s), advance analytics using ethical AI/ML and amplifying data to establish fusion data sets and analyze them for actionable insights.
