Gary has been a champion of healthcare initiatives within the US Virgin Islands for over ten years, currently serving as Medicaid Director. Over the course of his career, he used his passion, energy and expertise to lead several key efforts, including Medicaid, HIV Prevention, Ryan White and ADAP programs, and Emergency Services. He was awarded a fellowship with the Medicaid Leadership Institute, a year-long executive development program, which continues to bring resources to the Virgin Islands to further develop the territory. He also represents all five US Territories on the National Association of Medicaid Directors’ Board, where he focuses on setting strategic direction within Medicaid, on behalf of his territory colleagues. Gary’s unfailing dedication and enthusiasm, coupled with his knowledge and experience, enable him to drive important change in vital healthcare programs within the USVI.
